Keratin bonded to your hair using heat, but when done by a professional the procedure is very safe. There is less weight and Strain on one area of the hair because the extensions are small and distributed evenly across your head.

Additionally, because keratin bond is a naturally occurring protein, it is less likely to trigger any allergic reactions. Bonded extensions may also harm your own hair and scalp if they are done incorrectly.

In comparison to traditional adhesives with other chemicals, bonded hair extensions are lighter and use keratin, which is kinder and more natural for the hair. And the keratin fusion bond is more flexible, and your natural hair suffers less damage because of all these factors.

Installation bonded hair extensions can take up to 3 to 6 hours, depending on how many strands you need to be fitted, also can take as long to have them removed. It might take a while to install, but it will be worthwhile.

If properly cared for, they can last 3-5 months. Since hair naturally grows out, you would likely require touch ups every few weeks.

This is why we do a consultation; we look at the number of strands you require and the length, and the quality of the hair extension.

Hair extensions require special care. The better you care for them the more use you’ll get out of them.

The #1 RULE of handling hair extensions is to be gentle! Also you don't want to overwash your own hair, try to avoid washing your extensions too much. Unlike your own hair, which receives natural hydration from the oils on your scalp, hair extensions dont have a natural hydration source. Therefore keeping them hydrated is the key to keeping them shiny and in good condition.

Please do not ever try DIY attempts at extension removal. It can lead to unnecessary damage to both hair and scalp, a risk not worth taking.

Angele offers free 15 minute maintenance appointments. scheduling regular maintenance appointments is essential for the enduring allure and integrity of hair extensions. These sessions allow for professional assessment and adjustment of the extensions, ensuring they evolve seamlessly with the client's natural hair growth and styling needs.

Regularly checking and gently separating the bonds of your hair extensions is non-negotiable. As natural hair sheds, it can become entangled in the bonds, leading to mats and tangles that are tough to manage. Keeping those bonds separated ensures your extensions remain smooth and manageable.

Maintenance appointments should be scheduled every 2 to 3 months time period depending on the technic utilized

HOW HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE MADE

Human hair extensions are exactly what they sound like. They are made from human hair from Top to Bottom, collected from a donor. Remy hair means all the cuticles (the outer layer of the hair) are intact, running in the same direction at the time of the collection. This allows for almost no tangling and ensures that the extensions remain smooth and silky throughout their lifetime.

Synthetic hair on the other hand, is made from various synthetic, blended fibers, and contains no human hair. These fibers are usually exceptionally fine, plastic fibers that are manufactured to imitate human hair.

LOOK & FEEL

Both real and synthetic hair extensions come in many styles, colors, and different forms of application. The quality of synthetic fibers can vary, but they are still and move differently from human hair, they also do not blend as well with your natural hair. They sometimes have a wiry or coarse feel to the touch. Real hair looks and feels real (because it is!) and therefore bends more naturally with your hair.

COLORING & STYLING

Human hair extensions can be treated just like your own natural. You can straighten. Curl, blow dry, color them, and apply hair products. With synthetic hair, you cannot color the hair as most dyes contain ammonia or bleach, which would destroy the synthetic hair. Additionally, you cannot style synthetic hair the same way as your real hair because heat can damage curling irons, straighteners and blow dryers are a no go, as they will melt or severely damage the hair. Other factors such as sun, friction, or harsh products can also damage synthetic hair extensions.

QUALITY & HOW HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST

Synthetic hair is cheaper than real hair, but of course with that comes a trade-off. Because they are made of synthetic fibers, they do not last as long as human hair as they can easily be damaged by the above-mentioned factors (sun, heat, etc...) Synthetic hair extensions last for a few months, whereas human hair extensions can last upwards of one year if they are well taken care of. Remy hair usually lasts for about one year on average.

In summary, human hair can be treated and styled just like your own hair and will look and feel the most natural. It will blend easily with your hair and last much longer than synthetic hair. Although they are cheaper than real hair, synthetic hair does not look as natural, and cannot be styled with heating tools.

Costs are based on the amount of hair needed and the length and a consultation is required to discuss costs for your hair extensions.

Yes, you can bring your own hair and product but it is not recommended.

If clients choose to use their own hair, products, or glue not ordered by Angele, I am not responsible for any damage to the hair or issues with extensions.

Refunds will not be issued for services performed with client-supplied products, but I may assist with extension removal for a fee.

Consultations require a $25 deposit an payment is taken when booking through Calendly.

All other payments are processed through Squareup via online or in-person machine at my studio.

Payments accepts are cash, debit, visa debit and mastercard.

Receipts are provided for all payments.
